Welcome to ‘Teachers In Sport', a sports training company designed to develop the knowledge and training structure of primary and secondary school teachers, within the Physical Education curriculum.
Research performed by Teachers In Sport shows that many teachers shy away from allocating the necessary time to PE classes in their weekly timetables, as they feel under-trained or under-educated, and are unsure how to approach it.
Teachers In Sport Courses are designed to cater to all teachers and coaches alike. Therefore, no matter what their level of experience, teachers can walk away feeling at ease when teaching within the sports arena.
CONTENT Our current swimming courses provide teachers with help through: - Understanding the four swimming strokes via structured teaching steps - Developing varied lesson plans - Comparing common stroke faults with tips on what to look out for - Specific drills and programs - Games and activities
COST Teachers In Sport's 3 hour swimming courses are equivalent to the cost of just two hours of external coaching, and are only a fraction of the cost of either of the ASA (Amateur Swimming Association) teaching courses:
HOW ELSE CAN WE HELP?? Whilst Teachers In Sport offers structured teaching courses, we also recognise that some schools enjoy having external teachers come to them. Therefore, through either one of our courses, as a team coach, or for week-in and week-out tuition, we are here to satisfy your sports teaching needs. So why not contact us to see how Teachers In Sport can help your school!!

Our Biography
Class Coaching Biography
Class Coaching’s Director - Ben Grozier
Class Coaching’s Director is Ben Grozier.Ben is a Tennis Coaches Australia Professional Coach (since 1999) and LTA Club Coaches Award Holder (since 2001). He currently is the Head Coach of the Wilton Tennis Club in Wimbledon where he heads up a Junior and Adult Coaching programme that’s encompasses over 250 clients on a weekly basis on just four courts.
Ben’s involvement with tennis in schools starts from his homeland in Sydney, Australia. For four years he was a Head Coach at the Ravenswood School for Girls, Gordon where he ran the coaching programme for over 600 students with standards ranging from 4 year old beginner to elite students of 17 and 18, a couple of which now call the WTA Tour home. Ravenswood, Centre Court was awarded the Milo Best Schools Tennis Programme Award in 2000.
That same year Ben took over the running of the junior programme at the Barker College in Hornsby, Sydney and in 2001 started a dedicated tennis programme for Killara Public School in Sydney.
While in the UK Ben has established coaching programmes both in and out of school at 6 schools in the Wimbledon area and has conducted one off sessions for many other schools during his four years in London.
Ben also assists at the All England Lawn Tennis Club in their Talent Identification programme.
The inspiration to start ‘Class Coaching’ came from the positive feedback received from teaching friends and colleagues. Their requests for assistance regarding teaching tennis and planning lessons for ‘classroom’ sized numbers of children with often limited equipment and space and, differing skill levels prompted Ben to start this new initiative.
